If you are a retailer looking for space, make sure that your broker is a good story teller. Why?
Because San Francisco landlords can be very particular about who occupies theirs. Reasons range from personal preference to whether the retail business will complement or conflict with other retail tenants to whether your business will add luster that will enhance the amenities, value and prestige of their property to whether the landlord feels that the prospective tenant's business plan will be successful.
Effective presentation based on a clear understanding of your business can make the difference between securing a desirable retail space or not.
Obviously to tell a good story your broker has to take a sincere interest in understanding your business. So if your broker doesn't seem that interested in your business and doesn't articulate well, you should find a broker who is and who can.
Oh, where's the beef? At my client's, Pearl's Deluxe Burgers who was awarded first prize by none other than Food Network celebrity chef, Bobby Flay, at the "Best Burger Cook-off" at the Great American Food and Music Festival last weekend.
Currently with two locations (Mill Valley and downtown San Francisco) look out for a Pearl's Deluxe Burgers coming to your area!
p.s. If you go to Pearl's I highly recommend the buffalo burger, sweet potato fries and a fresh banana milkshake!

I always tell Ross that he is the hardest worker I know. I love working with Ross because he is prompt, easy to reach, and a wellspring of knowledge and experience. Business aside, I feel richer having known him AND, I am certaun of our success as a team.
