Three Days in Vegas

Sounds like a great title for a movie. It's all yours, Quentin.

I just flew in from Vegas and boy are my arms tired! (I have always wondered who first told that joke and not even on Wikipedia could I find the answer!)

For the last three days I was at the ICSC/Recon Convention - which is the annual commercial retail real estate industry trade show. I will later put forth my reflections on that and tie it into what is supposed to be the theme of this blog.

But for now I think I'll just think about the nearly 17 million square foot $11 billion City Center as an architectural marvel and, for better or worse, as a metaphor for 21st century living. But for now I think I'll just think about the Cirque du Soleil "Viva Elvis" show which I saw last night - a very impressive production.
