For those of you who don't speak Pig Latin let me translate....in simple English the title of this post reads "We're in the Money"
Well, maybe not quite yet, but economic indicators indicate that we have reached the bottom - and insofar as San Francisco commercial real estate is concerned I believe we have.
The "market" is finally taking on the characteristics of what makes a "market" (i.e. activity). For the past year and a half there was near to none activity.
About six months ago local retailers/entrepreneurs started to surface. In the past three weeks I have received inquiries from three national retailers looking for opportunities in San Francisco.
In closing and in tribute to the glory days of Hollywood where for more than twenty years I spent what I hope will only be the first half of my so-called career I pay tribute to Busby Berkeley, the great choreographer/director responsible for visual extravaganzas such as this, and if you hang in there you can watch just how bi-lingual was Ginger Rogers.
Note the lyric
"and when we see the Landlord, we can look that guy right in the eye"
